Portrait of Gregory Constantine, Founder and CEO of AIRCO

Constantine was born in Australia to a Lebanese mother and Greek father. He graduated from the University of Sydney and later completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Before founding AIRCO, he worked at Diageo and led global music strategy and cultural partnerships for Smirnoff.

In 2017, Constantine founded AIRCO, formerly AIR COMPANY, with scientist Stafford Sheehan. AIRCO develops and deploys technologies that convert carbon dioxide and hydrogen into fuels and chemicals for aviation, defense, space and industrial applications.

Constantine’s practice moves between industrial technology, product design and culture. He approaches products as both proof and communication: objects that make complex systems tangible. That perspective has shaped work ranging from AIR Vodka and AIR Eau de Parfum to aviation fuel and deployable fuel infrastructure.

01AIRCO

Company leadership.

As Founder and CEO, Constantine leads AIRCO’s company strategy, product direction and growth. AIRCO’s engineering and scientific teams have developed carbon-conversion processes for sustainable aviation fuel, ethanol, methanol, diesel-equivalent fuel and rocket fuel.

The company’s early products—including AIR Vodka, AIR Hand Sanitizer and AIR Eau de Parfum—demonstrated the quality and consistency of carbon-derived ethanol. AIRCO subsequently expanded into commercial fuel production, process licensing and deployable industrial systems.
